Cisco.com Page Launch

I led the launch of a new acquisition as part of the Cisco.com suite of security and network products.

Planning

I spearheaded drafting button content, stakeholder collaboration, and page layout.

Content Design

I assisted in page development by answering questions and addressing any revisions to content and graphics.

Results

Once content, graphics, and buttons were approved, they were submitted to the publishing engineer for implementation.

I oversaw brand & legal approval for page names, metadata and url creation. While working with stakeholders to build wireframes and align on layouts I used my expertise with our design system to build pages based on best practices.

Content Design

I collaborated with the main stakeholder and the editor to update content based on the Cisco style guide, brand voice, and legal requirements. Finally, I drafted button content that spoke to the content provided, was consistent with other buttons found on Cisco.com, and performed well based on preliminary research.

Results

When content and graphics were complete, they were submitted to the publishing engineer. From there, I assisted in page development by answering questions and addressing any revisions to content and graphics that needed to be done before final approval and QA. Once all pages were published on time, I owned building out of metrics in Adobe Analytics.  Button text I crafted for these pages performed higher than the industry standard by 2%.
